While i want to insert any row/column into merged range in scalc.This giving
error that "inserting into merged ranges not possible".Same thing is working
well with MS Excel.

So it is, but this conclusion isn't really new ;-)

@amitkm: May be you should have searched IZ for "inserting into merged ranges
not possible"?
