Hide items
Select the items that you want to hide from the calculations.

only can select one by one.
if there are a lot items, it's better to give one option to select all or 
unselect all.

reassigning features and enhancements to user requirements@openoffice.org which
will be the default owner for those tasks (was introduced some time ago)
