Hello, 

I it would be really more comfortable if "in selected" be on the allways visible
part of "Find" dialog (together wiht "in all table")

and it could be automatically checked if you select at least one full col/row
(or at least more than x cells)

as people use to get confused with the way it is now:

reassigning features and enhancements to user requirements@openoffice.org which
will be the default owner for those tasks (was introduced some time ago)

Great suggestion. Find & Replace dialog window should always be expanded.
