I think OOo maybe currently havn't this feature, because it looked this like a
string(Left Alignment).

Hi, eike,
There is a mistake in the component field. Peter told me that this issue maybe
should assign to you. Is that OK?

Comment 3 ooo 2008-01-24 15:53:24 UTC
The string will be recognized as date only if the cell already was assigned a
Chinese date format matching this number and character mixture. For example,
assigning the number format
YYYY"年"M"月"D"日"
before entering the string will work.

The number parser should consider the separators defined in locale data
(LongDateDaySeparator, LongDateMonthSeparator, LongDateYearSeparator) in yet
other contexts than it does now.

Hello liushibo_redflag, *,
would you be so kind to test it with a newer version of OOo than 680m241,
please? As I can neither read nor write Chinese, I am only playing a reminder
here ... ;) Maybe it is fixed in the meantime?
HTH
Thomas.

Hello Thomas,

I tested with OOo3.2_zh-CN and OOo3.3 with language pack. This issue still exists.

regards,
Lihua
