Description happyjack27 2007-08-11 00:31:05 UTC
It would be useful to be able to highlight a row or column of cells,
right-click, and select an option that would then move all the data in those
cells to the first cell, separated by commas.

Likewise, it would be useful to do the reverse: to be able to highlight a cell
with commas (or a customizable separator?), and then expand it out into columns
or rows.

Hi,

the second part will be possible for OOo2.4 (Menu Data - Text to Column)

the first part has to pass through the requirements team but IMHO the effort is
not worth the outcome. Too few people would have a benefit from it.
