Description ramanal 2007-03-27 10:23:47 UTC
User usually set Auto-Filter in a table of data, then choose which item will be
shown by choosing filter in selected column.

There is three options in auto filter in each column:
- all
- standard
- Top 10

The standard filter only have items for numeric filtering (> = < Largest
Smallest Largest %, Smallest %), but none for String filtering like (contains,
begin with, etc).

Attached is Ms. Excel Filter.

Dup of http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=35579.
Resolving.

ramanal,
please vote for 35579.
Also please note that 35579 is waiting for file format specification, so no
need to post additional comments.
In the mean time you can use regular expressions to achieve the result (if I
am not mistaken ".*Contact.*" is identical to "contains 'Contact'").

As per previous posting: Verified -> Closed.
A Closed Issue is a Happy Issue (TM).
