Description jnoreiko 2007-02-07 18:13:51 UTC
Autocorrect wrongly changes the names of SI units. For example, kilowatt-hour,
'kWh' is changed to 'Kwh'.
I've tried adding this to both groups of exceptions, but this doesn't solve the
problem.

jnoreiko,
I think you need to turn off autocapitalisation.

Hi,

Tools-Autocorrect...-Options-Capitalize first letter of every sentence is your
friend.

Or define your own numberformat like #.##0,00 "kWh" .

'Tools-Autocorrect...-Options-Capitalize first letter of every sentence is your
friend.'

But I don't want to turn this off -- I still want the first letter of sentences
to be corrected.
Nor do I want to muck about with defining my own numberformat.
Unit names are common enough; the software should know these as an exception.

Please reopen.

Hi,

the problem is that currently no option exists for something like that. So this
is not a defect but an enhancement request. Re-flagged an reassign it.

You may try to put a single quote in front of the Unit.
