Description reuterr 2006-10-14 19:00:17 UTC
Hello,
I have extracted from a bigger Excel spreadsheet an iterative calulation which
does not run under OpenOffice 2.0.4. (and older) calc. I have attachted the
sample file under the name "AR_Tools_Berechnug_OO.xls". The trick to bring it
under Excel to convergation is in cells A45 and A76 (ISERROR function). In Excel
2000 under Windows XP it is no problem to run. I have tried a lot to find a
workaround, but now I have no more idea what to try in OO. I am not sure if I
have to change the calculation to bring it to run, or if it is an issue of
OpenOffice calc.
Best regards,
Rudy

please change the value for iteration steps in /tools/options/calc/calculate and
do a 'hard' recalculation of the document via Shift+Ctrl+F9
Comment 3 reuterr 2006-10-15 15:54:06 UTC
Thank you for the quick response: "please change the value for iteration steps
in /tools/options/calc/calculate and do a 'hard' recalculation of the document
via Shift+Ctrl+F9".
I did so several times and indeed could remove Err 523. But then I got new
Errors 503 (invalid floating point operation) in line 44, which is not
understandable. Also when I change the key cell D19, the same effect happens again.
With best regards, Rudy
