Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 69922
Slides can't be renamed in special cases
Last modified: 2013-08-07 15:20:06 UTC
Reproduction: 1. Start Impress. 2. Create some Slides. 3. Be sure that the slide view on the left side is open. 4. Change to the Notes-View of a slide (since I am using a German version of OOo it might be called slightly different in English). I mean the view, where you can see the slide itself on the top and the notes on the bottom of the page. 5. Click somewhere on the slide (on the notes page). 6. Now right-click on the slide in the slide-view on the left side (where you can see the slide itself and the preceding and consecutive slides). 7. You can select "rename" in the pop-up menu. 8. When you now change the name of the slide, it won't change it's name. I think that the problem is that the user should not see the option "rename" in this pop-up menu.
Reproducible. Reassigned.
Accepted.
I was able to successfully replicate the bug on Windows XP Home SP2 using OOo 2.0.3. The same problem also occurs for the "Handout view". OpenOffice allows you to change the name of the slide in the Handout view, but doesn't actually change it's name. This could be done by changing to the "Handout view" in step No. 4 above and doing the same set of steps before and after that.
Is it possible to fix this for 2.4?
set target from 2.x to 3.x according to http://wiki.services.openoffice.org/wiki/Target_3x
Created attachment 49888 [details] When the kind of the actual page is PK_NOTES its standard page should be renamed accordingly.

This seems to have been fixed in the mean time. I can not reproduce the problem anymore.
