the body section of the page list no new roles to select from. The page I 
receive is this in HTML:

This happens on Macs and PCs(running NT 4.0) and both Netscape and IE.

Is it possible that this issue is a duplicate to Issue 7793 (or should
I say that Issue 7793 was possibly a duplicate to this one?)  Perhaps
an answer is available in 7793 nonetheless...??

As mentioned on the qa dev list on March 5th I will close all resolved duplicate
issues. Please see this posting for details. First step in IssueZilla is
unfortunately to set them to verified.
