insert picture, select it; in picture toolbar click on colour button. change a 
colour setting - a visible redraw is performed, unlike any other application (it 
is much slower than in other applications where there is no redraw and the 
change is performed instantly).
this almost not noticeable with smaller pictures, but visible very well with 
larger ones.
