Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 53131
View "jumps" when rows deleted
Last modified: 2017-05-20 11:13:37 UTC
Problem: When you delete a bunch of rows (longer than the viewed area) the view ends of in a totally confusing place. Why: When you delete alot of rows the user will expect the view to end up where the cursor is, but instead the view stays where the deleted row range ended. This is often just empty or some "random" section that happened to replace the buttom most rows you deleted (buttom row number + deleted number of rows). In Calc the view follows the cursor nicely when you deleted a lot of lines. Solution: After deletion of rows the view should jump to the cursor (the start of the selection that was just deleted). Cheers -- David
