Description Rainer Bielefeld 2005-07-11 18:42:58 UTC
I checked with 1.1.4 (German) WIN XP: [645m52 (Build 8824)] and I checked with
2.0 (1.9.m113) German version WIN XP: [680m113(Build8930)]

Steps to reproduce

1. create new spreadsheet with 1.1.4
2. Insert column Name (A ... F) into A1 ... F1
3. Make second row like 2., but leave empty dolumn A, C, D
4. create new OOo 2.0 spreadsheet
5. Mark 1.1.4 first line
6. Copy - Paste to 2.0 spreadsheet
   expected: looks like in 1.1.4
   actual: like expected
7. Mark 1.1.4 second line
8. Copy - Paste to 2.0 spreadsheet row 2
expected: looks like in 1.1.4 and not empty cells with same character in
   row 1 and row 2:
   ABCDEF
    B D F
actual: empty column "A" missing, "B" in clumn "A", other empty
   cells respected:
   ABCDEF
   B D F

more meaningful summary
Comment 2 Rainer Bielefeld 2005-07-12 05:01:25 UTC
The problem desappears if the source 1.1.4 spreadsheet.sxc has been opened with
2.0, So the bug still might provide interesting hintsm but I think we can reduce
priority one more.

Also corrected wrong OS.
