Description lukehallam 2005-05-14 05:19:47 UTC
Use Control+C to copy a date, Control+V to paste it into the cell below. Once
pasting complete, you cannot tab the focus out of the cell you have pasted into.
Using Enter does not work either.
Using arrow keys works and so does highlighting another cell using the mouse.

This issue remains in 1.9.104. The arrow keys will move the focus to an adjacent
cell but tab and return still won't move it.

Hi,

Excel behaves the same way as OOo Calc if more than one cell is selected. As
Calc can select single cells which Excel can't, this behaviour is consistent.
Keeping this behaviour for a single selected cell isn't really usefull, I
re-assign this Issue as ENHANCEMENT to the requirements team.

My report was based on cutting and pasting from a single cell to another single
cell. In Too,ls - Options - Calc - General I have "Press Enter to move
selection" checked and "Right" selected. See attachment previous to this
addition for an example.

Still present in 1.9.109.
