Description kraftstrom 2005-03-23 20:20:44 UTC
If the auto-range is not correct because of empty lines, the user will most
probably hit the select-all button and retry sorting.
The sort then should not try to sort the whole 64k x 256 cell area but only the
extent where data is present. The dialog to select sort columns should not
offer columns up to "GQ" when select-all was hit, but only the extent of the
sheet.
Three sorting columns are not always enough - 5 would be better.
Also it is VERY BAD that a non-stable sorting algorithm was used - this can get
data very messy for unknowing users.

There's the Patch ?

I re-flag as enhancement and re-assign to requirements.

IMHO this isn't as easy as it sounds. Also how should a CTRL+A determin to where
the selection should be extended ? Just to the right or down or both ?
