Description fjbra 2004-09-16 09:21:14 UTC
I tried to give ﷯multiple﷯ cells a name. The ﷯cell﷯ where not contiguous. I select
for example A1:B1 and A3:B3 and trie to give the Selection of the 4 ﷯cell﷯ a
single name.

I don't get an error when I give the name. But when I trie to select the 4 ﷯cell﷯
only the last selectec ﷯cell﷯(s) is selected. I I click all 4 ﷯cell﷯ with a single
ctlr+click only the last ﷯cell﷯ is mentioned. If I ctlr+click and drag the mouse
over more ﷯cell﷯ as last action the last selection is mentioned.

Hi Bettina,

Excel does support this kind of naming cells. As I don't know how this kind of
named cells could be usefull, I would like to close this as wontfix, but it's
your turn to decide how to proceed.

These names can be used in formulas, i.e. =SUM(multi_name)

To grep the issues easier via "requirements" I put the issues currently lying on
my owner to the owner "requirements".
