when I make a 2 colums data
X Y
0 1
1 2
2 3

I plot the data as points.
I click on the plot (on one of the points of the data)
I selct "Statistic"
Linear regression

I think you should add in this panel something about equation of the linear model.

For example when checked the checkbox "Show equation of model on plot",
the equation will be add on the plot (as a movable box)

Moreover, some options could be as :
name of X : "I"
name of Y : "U"
Show correlation ? yes/no

So you could have on your plot
U = 1 * I + 1
r = 1
