Key shortcut for inserting lines

Gents, I would really appreciate a key shortcut to add/delete lines in a spreadsheet. In another larger office suite CRTL + is used to insert a line, CRTL - is used to delete one. Cant OO have this feature too? Thanks Axel

Thanks for supporting this! One more hint in this conjunction: If a column/row is selected for the clipboard, a crtl+ should paste it into the new line. and if another crtl+ would paste the text again...it would be even better than in the 'other' spreadsheet appl. (it supports pasting only once)
FL: We need these shortcuts for accessibility. The also proposed automatic copy of selected rows/columns is IMHO a seperate feature and has to be handeld as a single (new) issue by the submitter. Ctrl + + (on the number block): Shows the “Insert Cell” dialog if a cell (or cells) is (are) selected; If a complete row or column is selected, a new empty row/column will be inserted before the current one. Just a note: using + / - from the number block is quite a restriction....for all notebook users. Most notebooks dont have a useable number block, and i use to 95% only notebooks.... Cheers
FL: I agree. Was the result of an English mapping on a German keyboard and so + on the normal keyboard area was not were I expected it :-) So please ignore the numbering pad restriction.
This got lost because the shortcuts are not in the Keyboard Shortcuts document. Probably too late now for 1.1 anyway.
Too bad....but as long as as it is not rescheduled for release 99.....
FL->OS: Please disable the "Caption" menu item if the content or/and size (caption will be entered inside, so the height could increased) of a frame is protected or the frame is part of a protected section. FL->ES: Please test if there are other ways to modify the content or size.
OS->FL: I don't understand your comment even though you sent it twice. What's the connection between the insertion of captions to this task?
FL->OS: Me too! FL->NN: I have retargeted this one for 2.0, but even if I missed out to add this one to the doc, this issue was assigned to you since April 02. I have now added this one to the short cuts doc and set the taget to OOo 2.0.
