Please ...

- open the attached spresheet:
As you can see the, A1 contains a "normal" part (the "1") and a bolf part 
(the"2)

- click somewhere in the 1-part of the edit-field

- click somewhere in the 2-part of the edit-field:
The bold-button is not enabled.

- press the cursor right or left once:
The bold button is enabled like it should be

- click somewhere in the 1-part of the edit-field:
The bold button stays enabled.

This means that the format-buttons are only correctly set when navigating with 
the cursor keys in the edit-field, not when using the mouse!

I think it's the edit engine and therefore your construction site.

Another strange thing:

- Open the attached spreadsheet

- do a very short click in the nonbold-arae in the edit-field with the "1":
The bold button is correctly off.

- press ESC in order to cancle edit-mode

- click a bit longer in the nonbold-area in the edit-field with the "1":
The bold-button is ON!
