Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 28372
mouse-click in edit-field does not set style-buttons
Last modified: 2017-05-20 11:13:13 UTC
Please ... - open the attached spresheet: As you can see the, A1 contains a "normal" part (the "1") and a bolf part (the"2) - click somewhere in the 1-part of the edit-field - click somewhere in the 2-part of the edit-field: The bold-button is not enabled. - press the cursor right or left once: The bold button is enabled like it should be - click somewhere in the 1-part of the edit-field: The bold button stays enabled. This means that the format-buttons are only correctly set when navigating with the cursor keys in the edit-field, not when using the mouse!

Hi Henning, I think it's the edit engine and therefore your construction site. Frank
Another strange thing: - Open the attached spreadsheet - do a very short click in the nonbold-arae in the edit-field with the "1": The bold button is correctly off. - press ESC in order to cancle edit-mode - click a bit longer in the nonbold-area in the edit-field with the "1": The bold-button is ON!
