Description sergio_lineu 2003-12-27 19:59:58 UTC
Inserting a Chart object into a Spreedsheet, and using the XY Chart Type is
possible to add a regression curve to a previous defined data series, but,
unfortunalety, is not possible to show the equation used to trace the curve (ax
+ b for linear regression as a example).
The feature of tracing regression curvers on OpenOffice will be much more useful
if we can see the equation used to trace the regression curves.

Comment 4 derekhtodd 2005-02-16 15:42:16 UTC
Please note this issue has been incorrectly identified as a duplicate os Issue
366, which is an RFE on defining custom ranges for error bars, and has nothing
to do with regression analysis.

This confusion is resulting in inappropriate comments being filed in Issue 366
by confused members, which is beginning to effectively cloud Issue 366.

Thank you.

Accordingly gmaths statement, this is not a duplicated issue and should be re-opened
Comment 8 bjoern.milcke 2006-03-27 09:35:02 UTC
You are right, Issue 366 is not the same as this. However Issue 7998 is exactly
about equations in regression curves, so I will set this issue on duplicate to
that one.
