Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 18043
Cached DDE Matrix data displayed as wrong type
Last modified: 2017-05-20 11:13:25 UTC
This is a result of the investigation into issue 15367. Now that this is fixed the remaining problem is that Calc assumes that format types of the DDE Matrix columns C2, D2 etc are dates rather than numeric. This seems to be because the first field in the matrix (A2) is a date. Use the attached doc from issue 15367. This is not related to the Excel filter as this behaviour is also present in Calc docs with Matrix data.
Hi Eike, one for you ? Frank
That's right, the data type of the number format is inherited from the upper left corner, as this is mostly what is wanted for array formulas. However, in the case of DDE arrays this is arguable.
Developer notes: later. 2.0 only if time permits.
According to the OpenOffice.org roadmap (http://tools.openoffice.org/releases) this issue was retargeted to OOo Later.
Reset assigne to the default "issues@openoffice.apache.org".
