Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 14483
Borders to Cells are not linked to other cells
Last modified: 2013-08-07 15:12:27 UTC
If you remove a border from, say, the right hand wall of cell A1, it does not remove the border from the left hand wall of cell B1. The preferred/expected behavior is that a border removed from the wall of one cell will automatically be removed from any cells that share the selected wall.
Hi Bettina, one4you
Summary: Cellborders between side-by-side lying cells should be removable.
I would like to confirm that this is still a problem in 1.1.3 & 1.9.58. This is a very annoying feature that I would like to see fixed. Thanks.
I beleive there was a disucssion some where, that this is the expected behavior. Having thought about it more, I think this is a better behavior to have the borders assigned to a cell. I think it should not be changed.
To grep the issues easier via "requirements" I put the issues currently lying on my owner to the owner "requirements".
