Excel_autoWrapText.ods - export to .xls and reopen to show problem

In .ods files, you can enter text on multiple lines, using Ctrl-Enter.
If a cell with such text has "Wrap text automatically" disabled (ie: default formatting), this is retained when you save and re-open the file.

But, if you save the file as .xls - Microsoft Excel 97/2000/XP (.xls) (*.xls) – and reopen it, cells with such text have auto-wrap set.

I attach Excel_autoWrapText.ods showing the problem when you export it to .xls and reopen.

The very same buggy behavior encountered (OpenOffice 4.1.11).
