Adding a hyperlink to a video file using the Hyperlink dialogue and taking the TEXT option causes the video file to open in the installed player associated with the video file type - in my case VLC. As expected and desired.

However if one choses the BUTTON option the video file opens in a frame with a Title Bar reading "Active Media Player". This frame/player has no transport controls (Stop, Start, Seek, Volume etc) except for the X (close) button on the title bar. Clicking on this closes the window but the file (sound) continues to play. There seems to be no specific process (ie a player) running in Task Manager responsible for this so I am assuming that the file has opened in a faulty version of the OO internal player. Trying to exit Calc does not stop the player (or Calc for that matter)and one has to force an 'end process' in Task Manager and subsequent recovery at the next open.

Hyperlinks to picture/graphics files  behave 'correctly' using either TEXT or BUTTON options - ie they open in the file-associated program.

This video behaviour happens for me in two installations of 4.1.1 on two different machines (an old Intel4 and a modern I7Quadcore)running two versions of Windows 7.

The work around, though irritating, is obvious - don't use buttons - but I'm sure this is not how it is supposed to be.
