Reproducible with "AOO 4.1.0 RC3 – English UI / German locale [AOO410m17(Build:9763)) - Rev. 1586584 2014-04-11 08:56:50]" on German WIN7 Home Premium (64bit)", “historic” 4. User Profile used for all predecessor versions Additional Info: ---------------- (a) Not a new effect, already visible with OOo 3.1.1 (b) Not limited to .ots, also visible after having saved as .ods (c) Comparing button label in reporter's sample document to a cell text "Hello World" (both are Segoe UI 9) I see that font size in button looks smaller (d) The effect is "somehow" related to Menu 'Tools -> Options -> Calc -> Input Settings -> Use Printer Metrics for text formatting'. With Printer Petrics = ON reported effect is not visible, Label in button shows bigger size immediately when document becomes opened (e) With reporter's sample you can toggle button label font size by activating / deactivating printer metrics (f) At least on my PC with Segoe UI 9 font size of Column and Row headings follows font size in button toggling printer metrics due to (2) (g) I tried LibO 3.5 on Ubuntu, there the reported effect is not visible, may be because different font is used by default. (h) I don't understand this "Increase Row width" effect
(i) I am pretty sure that the problem is not generally limited to WIN, but might be not visible in Some Linux distriutions because different font used @Edwin: Do you see an effect toggling printer metrics?
>Do you see an effect toggling printer metrics? confirming, use printer metrics = OFF is responsible for this effect
