Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 122685
Displaing of Calc grid lines misconduct
Last modified: 2013-09-16 08:24:40 UTC
Created attachment 81000 [details] Calc document where grid lines have problems When I use AOO 4.0.0 with conditional formatting I get some times messed cell grid lines. My graphic card is NVIDIA GeForce GTX 550 Ti if that matter. When tested in AOO 3.4.1 malfunction is almost invisible with same document. "Best" way to get error is change values affecting conditional formatting and scrolling with mouse wheel. I try attach one screen capture image and one Calc document. In image can seen that there is columns missing some horizontal grid lines and text shapes where grid lines go above.

Grid lines disappear in Rev. 1499427 Win 7 PS what cells in attachment have conditional formatting?
ES: "PS what cells in attachment have conditional formatting?" At least C8:G8 at first sheet, "Taulukko1". I have larger area but I remove those conditional formatting.
I am using windows 8 with a touch-screen laptop, but with a mouse with tracwheel plugged in. The tracwheel has given me problems before with Calc (and Excel) so I think this is related to display issues in general with the tracwheel mouse. I have the same problem with display, especially in OO 4.0, but have also noticed entire lines and / or cells duplicate or disappear, and calculations do not record my attempts at changing values--but only sometimes, not all the time. I finally uninstalled 4.0 and went back to 3.4.1. Hope this helps. Could it be related to 64-bit conversions, since the pgm is for x86, but the OS is 64-bit? Just wondering. Still think it is the mouse thing though.
Facing similar issue of missing grid-lines in Calc sheet on Win 7 - 32 with ATI 5670. Refreshed by Zoom in / Zoom Out. Installed on 09-09-2013 using Apache Open Office 4.0.0 - AOO400m3(Build:9702) - Rev. 1503704
This is probably a duplicate of bug 122149 that is already fixed for AOO401. Please check the development snapshots at http://s.apache.org/aoo_devsnaps
