1. When exiting Design Mode, form elements will change position (about 1px up and 1px to the left).

2. When switching worksheet, and then returning back to the original worksheet, the form elements *might* have changed position as well.

This makes the positioning feature redundant, or at least harder to use as one has to estimate that "what you see ain't what you get".

have you tried to disable spell checking? this may help

No, I don't think those are related. Just watch how a form element moves 1px when you enter / exit Design Mode.

I do not have spell checking enabled.

This bug can repros on AOO3.4.O Rev. 1327774, so I change the status from Unconfirmed to confirmed.
