Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 119603
"Spacing to contents" doesn't work properly
Last modified: 2012-07-18 01:53:25 UTC
If I set "Spacing to contents" in Format Cells => Borders to 1,35mm, exit, and re-enter, OOo (3.3.0) will have changed it to 1,36mm. If I set it to 1,10mm, it will have changed to 1,09mm. 1,50mm, however, will remain unchanged. This can be troublesome if one wishes to use consistent round-number positioning and sizing on form elements. --Dwayne
I try to reproduce on AOO3.4 release version, but can't reproduce. when I set borders to 1.35mm, It will convert to 4.0pt and have no changed after re-enter.
I'm so sorry - I forgot to mention that I'm applying this "Spacing to contents" through the "Default" style in "Styles and Formatting". Please try that.
Created attachment 78325 [details] "Spacing to contents" set to 1,35mm but shifted by OOo Calc to 1,36mm Set through the "Default" style in "Styles and Formatting".
confirmed,I can reproduce in AOO-r1359641 repeat steps: 1.launch oo and new a spreadsheet 2.input some text in one cell as B3 3.select the cell and enable context menu, select "Format cell...->borders" and set "Spacing to contents" as 1.35mm. note:if the measurement unit is not millimeter, please change by "Tools->openoffice.org calc->general" 4.re-enter to check the spacing to contents defect: the spacing 1.35mm will change to 1.36mm.but if set 1.50mm,re-enter and it will no change.
