Description dbadia 2012-02-20 18:24:02 UTC
In previous versions of OpenOffice calc, ctrl+] could be used to jump to the cell referenced by the cell you are on (same shortcut exists is MS Excel too).

Example:
1. assume A1 contains '=Sheet2.B2'
2. put focux on A1, pressing ctrl+] should take you to Sheet2.B2

Unfortunately I did a whole system upgrade so I'm not sure what version this last worked on.

Thanks
Dave

Unable to reproduce cell behaviour as described on AOO ver2.2, ver3.2 (Linux) or Excel 2000 and 2003(Windows)

Original submissions had a typo, the correct key combo is ctrl+[ (corrected title too). I've attached a sample spreadsheet. In sheet1, click here, then ctrl+[, you will be taken to sheet2

Calc keyboard keys
Comment 5 Ephraim Purcell 2013-01-27 20:35:15 UTC
I am still unable to recreate this keyboard behaviour on various configurations. The "[" (square bracket) key is not used in AOO keyboard shortcuts (see attached screen capture). What keyboard layout are you using?
Comment 6 dbadia 2013-01-30 02:09:35 UTC
I am using a US keyboard. The behavior I see is that the shortcut works in MS Excel, but not in OpenOffice Calc

Shortcut is missing.

Version has been modified erroneous, so back to most early version

May be that one has been removed intendedly because "[" on many keyboards does not exist as key?

Any ideas for workarounds?
