When "View|Status Bar" is not checked and "Data|Sort" is executed, the sort will create a temporary status bar in which sort progress is displayed. At the end of the sort, the temporary status bar is not removed.

This is in contrast to a "File|Save" operation, in which a temporary status bar is also created for progress, but is removed at the end of the save. File|Save is the workaround for removing the status bar at the end of a sort.

getting rid of value "enhancement" for field "severity".
For enhancement the field "issue type" shall be used.

Yes, this is confirmed. I have AOO 3.4.1, Windows Vista.
