Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 113694
Time format error
Last modified: 2013-01-29 21:50:04 UTC
The date and time are displayed incorrectly if the time is 00:00:00 In the example below the date and time 04/01/10 0:00:00 enters twice: time = 40269 in line 2, and time = 40270 in line 26. I have OO 3.2.1 OOO320m18 (Build:9502) installed on W7 64 bit Dell Precision M4500 The .ods file is available. Best regards, DBSsbd Example: Date Time 04/01/10 0:00:00 04/01/10 1:00:00 04/01/10 2:00:00 04/01/10 3:00:00 04/01/10 4:00:00 04/01/10 5:00:00 04/01/10 6:00:00 04/01/10 7:00:00 04/01/10 8:00:00 04/01/10 9:00:00 04/01/10 10:00:00 04/01/10 11:00:00 04/01/10 12:00:00 04/01/10 13:00:00 04/01/10 14:00:00 04/01/10 15:00:00 04/01/10 16:00:00 04/01/10 17:00:00 04/01/10 18:00:00 04/01/10 19:00:00 04/01/10 20:00:00 04/01/10 21:00:00 04/01/10 22:00:00 04/01/10 23:00:00 04/01/10 0:00:00 04/02/10 1:00:00 04/02/10 2:00:00
Created attachment 70979 [details] The date in line 26 is incorrect
Use =A26 in cell C26 and format it with a high precision number format. You see, that the content of A26 is not an integer 40270, but a decimal 40269,9999999999.

I need to copy and paste this information into a text file. Your suggestion does not help me a lot. In addition, the displayed date and time in line 26 precedes the date and time in lines 3-25. It does not make any sense since the decimal value is greater. DBSsbd
You are right, the display should be 04/02/10. How to reproduce: Format column with MM/DD/YYYY HH:MM:SS Enter 04/01/10 00:00:00 in A1 and 04/01/10 01:00:00 in A2. Select A1 and A2 and drag down. Notice shown value in A25 is 04/02/2010 00:00:00. Format whole column with MM/DD/YYYY Notice shown value in A25 is 04/01/2010. The date should be the same, regardless showing time or not.
