Last modified: 2013-01-29 21:40:37 UTC
Apply conditional formating rule on a cell, has an onther behaviour if opened in Excel 2003. target: color font green and italic/bold if value eqs target. condition: cell(D5) eqs value cell(E5) I change manual cell($E$5) in cell(E5), so I can copy the condition to the other row's save the file in xls. Open the file in Excel 2003. result: cell(D5) eqs value cell(E1) I have a sample file. Rene

See: http://user.services.openoffice.org/en/forum/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=30558&p=140181#p140181 This issue concerns OpenOffice 3.2.0 and 3.2.1 RC. The conditional formatting works fine with XLS files in OpenOffice 3.1.1.
Opening the OpenOffice.org Calc saved xls file in MS Excel shows the cell ranges in the conditional formatting statement corrupted. OpenOffice.org Calc show the ranges correctly. This seems to be a regression bug in xls file writing.
