Description zapane 2010-03-03 09:12:16 UTC
Open a new spreadsheet.
Write some text in cells B1, B2, B3.
Insert an absolute reference to B1 in A1 eg. [=$B$1]
Doubleclick on A1.
Move the colored frame around B1 to B2.
The reference now changes to [=$B$2:B2] while it should be [=$B$2].
Drag and fill cell A1 to A2.
A2 now contains the reference [=$B$2:B3] which is a reference to an array of
cells rather than a single cell.
