Description vince 2010-01-19 22:21:26 UTC
If you select a whole column or row either by clicking on the column / row head
or by pressing Ctrl+Space or Ctrl+Shift+Space, expanding the selection by
pressing the shift key and moving with keys reduces the selection to the
position of the active cell. This is an unwanted behaviour.

Rob Brunner, 11/5/2013:

This issue has been confirmed and can be replicated by the following steps:

1. Click on either a column or row header (e.g. 1 or A)
2. Press and hold shift
3. Click the down arrow button

The selection is then reduced to the square/rectangle created between the clicked header and the currently active cell.
Comment 2 Edwin Sharp 2013-12-24 09:29:45 UTC
Column selection is lost when pressing Shift+left arrow or Shift+right arrow.
Expected behavior is that more entire columns will be selected.
