I have started the goalseek on a notebook HP6930p (i belive the problem is with 
the dual core CPU) and the application remains in a loop without giving the 
result.
I noted that if the number of calculation is short, it works. If instead the 
number of formula is large (probaly the balancing of the load on the CPUs) the 
calculation never ends and it is necessary to terminate the process with the 
task manager.
I tryed also with Excel and it works.
I can upload the file with the step-by-step instruction to replicate the 
problem.

Attention: the attachment with id=64514 is working (10 years loan)
I attach other three file:
"Loan cost 10 year - OK" in which the goal seek work (it is eqal to the 64514)
"Loan cost 15 years - KO" that doesn't work 
and also
"Error Calc - goal seek" with the snapshots of the windows.

Confirming.

tested with:
* OOo 3.1.1 OOO310m19 on Windows 2000
* OOo-dev 3.2.0 DEV300m56 on Ubuntu Linux 9.04

(Has nothing to do with dual core CPU, since I tested with conventional single
core.)
