Can reproduce it in OOo3.0

How to reproduce it
1 File - New - Spreadsheet
2 Enter 1 to 7 in cell ranges B2:B8
3 Delete cell value in B4:B7
4 Insert - Chart
5 In Chart Wizard, choose XY (Scatter) - Points and Lines - Next 
  and set Data range as B2:B8 - Finish

Result
Can't insert XY (Scatter)

Expectation 
Can insert XY (Scatter)

Note
If select data range at first, then Insert - CHart, find can insert XY (Scatter)
successfully.

Please make sure, that you uncheck "First row as label" and "First column as
label" in the wizard. Does it work then?

Hi Regina,
Follow your opinion, I uncheck "First row as label" and "First column as
label" in the wizard. It works.
But, I don't know there are different checking for "First row as label" and
"First column as
label" in the wizard about selecting data range at first or not.
So, would you like giving me a reasonable explaination?
