Description andmalc 2005-03-09 23:04:48 UTC
I find a useful, timesaving feature of Excel's Fill commands does not work under
Calc. Under Excel, invoking a Fill command (i.e. Fill Down, Fill Right etc.)
copies content from an adjascent cell without needing the source cell to be
selected. Under Calc, it is necessary to select the source cell.

I use this feature a lot, and this deficiency (combined with the lack of
compatible shortcut keys - see my issue 44647) makes for typing lists of data
with repeating items much slower.

Not a defect but can be seen as enhancement, so set the flags and re-assigned to
requirements

It would be nice to have this feature in the current working version
CTRL+D fill down - if no item selected auto copy down the cell above else do as
current behaviour.
