Description pagalmes.lists 2006-12-05 20:12:34 UTC
Have a look at the sample file. In it, I have a simple dataPilot which
represents some data.

What I would need to do : find which is the "cities" with the most strong
people. So I want to sort the dataPilot result using the number of "yes" as a
sorting criteria.

So the RFE is : adding a way to sort a datapilot using a dataField result as the
sorting criteria.

PS: it would then be nice use a user-defined function as the sorting criteria.

It would be nice to be able to sort both subtotal groups AND data pilot
grids. If I have a datasheet of sales and one column represent the customer, I
would like to be able to make either a subtoal group or a data pilot of sales by
customer, and then sort it to show the main customers first.

reassigning features and enhancements to user requirements@openoffice.org which
will be the default owner for those tasks (was introduced some time ago)

Works for me in OOo 2.4.1 as well as in OOo 3.0 RC1

(1) Reopen DataPilot´s dialog
(2) Doubleclick on field "Are you strong?" to see its properties
(3) Click on "Options..."
(4) Choose Hide Items "I don´t know" and "No"
(5) Click "OK", again Click "OK"
(6) Doubleclick on field "City" to see its properties
(7) Click on "Options..."
(8) Choose radio button "Descending"
(9) Choose Sort by "Are you strong ?"
(10) Click "OK" three times
Done. :-)
