Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 59697
Need selection of 'Selected Sheet' for printing
Last modified: 2014-06-02 07:59:53 UTC
When printing it is possible to select a page range, but in order to export from just the current spreadsheet tab it is necessary first to print preview and note the page numbers. Because numbering reflects the whole sheet this could easily result in a document numbered from page 26 onwards. The default behaviour of printing all sheets is markedly different from other products, and has caused a lot of confusion with people converting. I would like to see the selection options expanded to four: * All sheets * Current sheet(s) (based on tab highlighting) * page [...] * selection I have raised the same suggestion for sub-component "save-export" , for PDF
according to http://qa.openoffice.org/issue_handling/workflowcharts/RFE_issues_by_QA.sxd I reassign this issue to requirements and set the status to new
Any thoughts on this one and on http://qa.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=59696 ?
Quite surprised this is still unconsidered. I'd have hoped it would make it into the 2.x series, but can we at least hope for it in 3.x?
Is this so very hard?
I have just been experimenting with version 3.0 Beta 2 on XP. There is now a 'selected sheets' radio button on the print dialogue that does exactly what I was proposing. This can therefore be closed, I suggest (issuezilla won't let me do that)
OK, this one is done for a long time with a "selected cells" that can be checked in the print dialog. Last test with OOo 3.1.1
Verified on Aoo_Trunk_20120829.1800, "selected cells" that can be checked in the print dialog. close it.
Summary is different from original request
