Even if you opt for not printing background, background color is displayed in 
print preview and is printed too.

Describe step by step how to reproduce this Issue.

Here is the information you require:
If you give backgrounds color (to the cells) do differentiate while working and
do  not want this backgrounds to be printed, we cannot do it. Print preview
displays the background (even if we choose the option to not to print
backgrounds) and printing also prints it.

Hi,

There do you switch off the printing of the background color ?

I did not know of any place there to do so.

Please describe step by step how to reproduce your problem, e.g. :

1. Open new Calc
2. set cell background color to red
3. ...

Sorry for delayed response. Gentlemen, I agree. Option to not to print 
background is available only in OO.oWriter, not in OO.oCalc. Well, let me modify 
my request - please move this option to tools>options>General or please make 
this option available for OO.oCalc too. Thanks in advance
