Description darkfox 2002-04-12 11:16:40 UTC
Selecting a graph (so that the corners of the graph go green) and then doing
Print Selection (to file was tested, but presumably the same occurs to a
printer) results in the entire spreadsheet being printed, and not just the graph
as would be expected.

In order to print just the graph, the cells around the graph have to be selected.

In my opinion, this is unintuitive. The behaviour should be to print whatever
is selected.

Hi,
not a bug but at least a _very good_ idea. Reassigned to Falko.
Best regards, Peter

Selecting an object in Calc (example: the corners of the graph go
green) and then doing a Print Selection results in the entire
spreadsheet being printed, and not just the graph as would be expected.

In order to print just the graph, the cells around the graph have to
be selected.

This is unintuitive. The behaviour should be to print whatever
is selected or at least question within the print dialogue like in Draw.

To grep the issues easier via "requirements" I put the issues currently lying on
my owner to the owner "requirements".

No longer a problem, see "Issue 124694 - Caption for print range selection radio button should be "Selection" instead of "Selected Cells""
