Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 28268
Autofilter: Show resulting number of matching rows (in status bar )
Last modified: 2014-05-22 06:04:42 UTC
It would be useful if the status bar in Calc would show the resulting total number of rows when you use the AutoFilter.
Hi Bettina, one for you. Frank

Hi all, Could it be possible to set a target milestone for this issue? Thanks in advance. Kind regards - Sophie
Please, this is one of the Excel features I miss in OO Calc
Same issue here... I detect it happening in OOO310m19 Build 9420 on Mac OS X and NeoOffice (yes I know, this is not the place, but is good to know that derivatives work has also the problem). I consider that this is a very important Bug, and I can't believe that there is 5 people following this. (Another problem just fixed witch is very difficult to discover has more followers). Well I just figured out that if I select the range and define a name for that "database range" the autofilter will stay if you autofilter another range. I also discover that the problem occurs in the same sheet as in other tabs sheets. And finally, in order to mantain Excel compatibility (and in this case is not an Excel Bug, I mean that have 2 autofilters without defining a "database range") OOo should work like Excel. Thanks. clemare
Misplaced comment of mine, please delete it. clemare
To grep the issues easier via "requirements" I put the issues currently lying on my owner to the owner "requirements".
