Description Regina Henschel 2003-01-31 16:48:26 UTC
If I use data out of a protected sheet, I can not alter the styles of those
cells, which are generated by the datapilot, although they are in a different
sheet, which is not protected. When I unprotect the data-sheet, in the other
sheet, the datapilot-styles are changeable, but I do not really want to
unprotect the data.
I use Win98 and it occurs with Version 643c, OOo101 and SO6.0

kind regards
Regina Henschel

Hi Bettina,

our competitor is not able to make a pilot out of a range on a
protected sheet. So if we can change a cell style on a data pilot
created from such sheets, we have an big improvement other them.

Hello Niklas, please give approval for this evaluated OO.o 2.0 flagged issue.
If you confirm with the target OO.o 2.0, then please keep it on your owner (or
the owner of the concerning developer) for implementation. In case you want this
issue for 'OOo Later', then please reset the target milestone. If you decline
the issue finally, please set the resolution to 'Wontfix' (but do not close). In
case of 'OOo Later' or 'Wontfix' please reset it on Bettina's owner. Thank you.

It's not specific to DataPilot cells. When a sheet is protected, no styles can
be modified.

This is not on the list of features that we're going to do for 2.0. We need to
focus on the enhancements from the PCD document.

To grep the issues easier via "requirements" I put the issues currently lying on
my owner to the owner "requirements".
