With two instances of Calc open (i.e., two spreadsheets open), and arranged so
that the input line in formula bar is visible on both:

1) highlight a cell w/value (e.g., 2.3) in each
2) switch between instances, keeping the input line in formula bar always visible.

What you see: the inactive instance stops displaying the value in the input line
in formula bar. Switch instances, and only the active instance shows the value
in the input line.

Ditto for the cell address in the formula bar.
