Description yarwell 2007-08-01 09:02:25 UTC
I find it impossible to drag a single cell in Calc with a single mouse action.

If I click on the cell, drag to include some others, then drag back to revert to
the single cell (now highlighted black) then I can drag it easily.

If I use Ctrl/Click to highlight the single cell it can be dragged OK.

But I can't drag a single cell just by the mouse like I can in competing products.

I did use the search facility, thankyou. Try not to be such a ....... if you
want people to help the project.

->'yarwell', thanks for raising the Issue and using the search facility (it is
easy to miss duplicates- we have all done it!). However, in this case you were a
little unlucky in raising this often requested Issue. I don't believe that 'fst'
meant anything by his comment, it's just when reviewing hundreds of Issues QA
and Developers often give rather short replies.

The Sun developers are starting to address usability of Calc, so this might get
fixed in the not too distant future. Check-out:
