Placement for Datalabels none

Description IngridvdM 2006-03-31 12:16:27 UTC
For example the datapoint labels in column charts are always positioned on top
of the datapoint rectangle. It should be possible to customize this automatic
placement. For example: 1) Center 2) Inside Bottom 3) Inside Top 4) Outside Top
or similar.
The different chart types may have different usefull automatic positions. This
has to be taken into account.
Details have still to be specified.

I need this as prerequisite to implement issue 4039.
Comment 5 IngridvdM 2007-11-06 15:17:43 UTC
Fixed in CWS chart17.
There is a new list box called 'Placement' on the data labels tab page and in
the 'Insert data labels' dialog.
For details have a look at the specification:
http://specs.openoffice.org/chart/ChartDataLabels.odt
The excel import and export will be implemented later with issue 83372.
Comment 6 IngridvdM 2007-11-06 15:18:46 UTC
