Description hbbroeker 2005-03-23 17:11:40 UTC
The situation:
Edit->Changes->Record turned on
Two vertically neighboring cells are currently merged, and contain text

All attempts I could imagine to un-merge them failed, because Format->Merge
Cells ->Remove remains grayed out. I turned off Edit->Changes->Record, et
voila, Format->Merge Cells->Remove becomes available again.

This wouldn't necessarily be bad, if a) it was documented, and b) turning off
change-recording, even for a moment, didn't lose all the accumulated history of
logged changes.

Hi,

not a bug but a limitation of the red lining function. Therefore wontfix.
