Inserting/deleting in the middle of merged cells |

- Open a new spreadsheet document
- In cellarea A1:E1 enter "A;B;C;D;E"
- In cellarea A2:E2 enter "1;2;3;4;5"
- In cellarea A3:E3 enter "11;12;13;14;15"
- Select A1:E3 and merge the area by FORMAT-MERGE CELLS without copying the data to the first cell
- Select column C and insert a new column by INSERT-COLUMNS
- Select column B and delete column by rightclicking the rowheader B and use in context DELETE ROWS
- Unmerge cell via FORMAT-MERGE CELLS
- Verify that the values for row 1 are "A;B; ;C;D;E" and for row 2 "11;12; ;13;14;15" and that row 3 is empty
- Close document

Copy/paste of merged cells over other merged cells |

- Open new spreadsheet document
- Select cellarea A1:D5 and merge the area by FORMAT-MERGE CELL
- Select cellarea F7:G7 and merge the area by FORMAT-MERGE CELL
- Copy cellarea F7:G7 into the clipboard by CTRL-C
- Paste clipboard to A1
- Verify that cellarea A1:D5 is not merged but only A1:B1
- Close document
