Testcase 1 Status: Preliminary -

  1. File / New / Spreadsheet
  2. Create cell range A2:E5 with random values
  3. Insert Chart Type Line Points and Lines using Toolbar
  4. Select the chart
  5. Insert /  Y Error Bars...
  6. Choose the Error Category Standard Deviation
  7. Choose the Error Indicator Positive and Negative
  8. Leave the Dialog by using ok
  9. Check, if the Error Bars for all Data Points are visible
  10. Insert /  Y Error Bars...
  11. Switch  the Error Category  to Standard Error
  12. Switch  the Error Indicator to Positive
  13. Leave the Dialog by using ok
  14. Check, if the Error Bars for all Data Points switched to Standard Error and only Positive Error Indicators are shown
  15. File / Save as... {name of your choice}
  16. File / reload
  17. Check, if if the Y Error Bars are visible and the settings for Error Category and Error Indicator are correct
  18. Chart inplacemode
  19. Select the first Dataseries
  20. Kontextmenu / Delete Y Error Bars...
  21. File / Save
  22. File / Reload
  23. Check, if the Error Bars for the first Dataseries are deleted


Testcase 2 Status: Preliminary -

  1. File / New / Spreadsheet
  2. Create cell range C2:F6 with random values
  3. Insert Chart Type xy (Scatter) Points and Lines using Toolbar
  4. Select the first Data Serie
  5. Kontextmenu / Insert  Y Error Bars.../ Tabpage Y Error Bars
  6. Choose the Error Category Percentage
  7. Set the Parameters (Positive +)  to 10 %
  8. Choose the Error Indicator Positive
  9. Leave the Dialog by using ok
  10. Check, if the Error Bar for the first Data Serie are visible and show the correct value and indicator
  11. File / Save as... {name of your choice}
  12. File / reload
  13. Check, if the Error Bar for the first Data Serie are visible and show the correct value and indicator
  14. Create a cell Range A2:A6
  15. Chart Inplace mode
  16. Select the second Data Serie
  17. Kontextmenu / Insert  Y Error Bars.../ Tabpage Y Error Bars
  18. Choose the Error Category Data Range
  19. Choose the Error Indicator Positive and Negative
  20. Set the Parameters Positive (+) to the Range $Sheet1.$A$2:$A$6 by using the Select data range Button
  21. Mark the Checkbox Same value for both
  22. Switch to Tabpage Line
  23. Change the Linestyle to Fine dotted
  24. Change the color to Yellow
  25. Change the width to 0,20
  26. Set the Transparency to 10%
  27. Leave the Dialog by using ok
  28. Check, if the Error Bar for the second Data Serie are visible and show the correct value, indicator and all Linestyle, Color width and Transparency
  29. File / Save as... {name of your choice}
  30. File / reload
  31. Check, if the Error Bar for the second Data Serie are visible and show the correct value, indicator and all Linestyle, Color width and Transparency
  32. Chart inplacemode
  33. Insert / Y Error Bars...
  34. Set Error category to none
  35. Leave the Dialog by using ok
  36. Check, if its no Error Bar are visible
  37. Kontextmenu / Delete Y Error Bars...
  38. File / Save
  39. File / Reload
  40. Check, if its no Error Bar are visible

Testcase 3 Status: Preliminary -

  1. File / New / Textdocument
  2. Insert / Object / Chart...
  3. Insert / Y Error Bars...
  4. Choose the Error Category From Data Table
  5. Choose the Error Indicator Positive and Negative
  6. Leave the Dialog by using ok
  7. View / Chart Data Table...
  8. Set for every Y-Values a Positive and Negative Y-Error-Bars value
  9. Leave the Dialog by using the window closer
  10. Check, if the Error Bars for all Data Points  are visible and show the correct Error Bar value
  11. File / Save as... {name of your choice}
  12. File / reload
  13. Check, if if the Error Bars for all Data Points  are visible and show the correct Error Bar value
  14. Chart inplacemode
  15. Select the first Dataseries
  16. Kontextmenu / Delete Y Error Bars...

  19. Check, if the Error Bars for the first Dataseries are deleted
