Insert and Format Trendline (single and multible) Status: Preliminary -

  1. File / New / Spreadsheet
  2. Create cell range A2:D5 with random values
  3. Insert Chart Type XY (Scatter) Points and Lines using Toolbar
  4. Select a Data Series
  5. Kontextmenu / Insert Trend Line.../ Tabpage Type
  6. Choose Regression Type Linear
  7. Leave the Dialog by using ok
  8. Check, if the Trend Line for the selected Data Serie are available
  9. Select the Trend Line
  10. Format / Object properties... / Tabpage Type
  11. Change the Regression Type to Logarithmic
  12. Leave the Dialog by using ok
  13. Check, if the Trend Line for the selected Data Serie are switched to Logarithmic
  14. Format / Object properties... / Tabpage Line
  15. Change the Linestyle to Fine dashed
  16. Change the Line Color and the width
  17. Leave the Dialog by using ok
  18. File / Save as... {name of your choice}
  19. File / reload
  20. Chart inplacemode
  21. Check, if if the Trendline is visible and all changed Linestyles are adopted
  22.  Insert / TrendLInes...
  23. Choose Regression Type Exponential
  24. Leave the Dialog by using ok
  25. Check, if the Trend Lines for all Data Serie are switched to Exponential
  26. Check, if the Trend Line for the former selected Data Serie are all Linestyles maintained
  27. File / Save
  28. File / reload
  29. Check, if if the Trendlines are visible and the changed Linestyles are adopted

  1. File / New / Spreadsheet
  2. Create cell range A2:E5 with random values
  3. Insert Chart Type XY (Scatter) Points and Lines using Toolbar
  4. Select a Data Series
  5. Kontextmenu / Insert Mean Value Line
  6. Check, if the Mean Value Line for the selected Data Serie are visible and available
  7. Select the Mean Value Line
  8. Format / Object properties... / Tabpage Line
  9. Change the Linestyle to 3 dashes 3 dots
  10. Change the Line Color and the width
  11. Set the Tranparency to 60 %
  12. Leave the Dialog by using ok
  13. File / Save as... {name of your choice}
  14. File / reload
  15. Chart inplacemode
  16. Check, if if the Mean Value Line is visible and all changed Linestyles and Transparency are adopted
  17.  Insert / Mean Value Lines
  18. Check, if for each Data Series a own Mean Value Lines are set
  19. Check, if the Mean Value Line for the former selected Data Serie are all Linestyles maintained
  20. File / Save
  21. File / reload
  22. Check, if if all Mean Value Lines are visible and the changed Linestyles are adopted
